Kaia Sawyer

Kaia trained at Bird College where she gained a professional Diploma in Dance & Musical Theatre. Alongside performance work, Kaia has taught performing arts and dance in a range of settings both in London and the South West, currently holding a place as Contemporary dance lecturer at Petroc College. Whilst technical development is a key component of her approach to training, her teaching is anchored in developing performance qualities. Kaia specialises in working with advanced dancers and strives to inspire each student, ensuring they push themselves out of their comfort zone and explore new ways of using their body and reach their full potential.

“Instilling confidence in performers promotes a positive approach to self belief encouraging each individual to raise their aspirations and fulfil their potential”

Whilst the industry is on hold, Kaia is excited to share her fresh knowledge and most up-to-date approach to professional training with our aspiring young performers of VAMP.

Kaia has an Extended DBS Check
